Ammar – the founder of the company was extremely efficient. He answers all of our emails and messages in return. He arranged a private transfer for your rafting group to Bhotekoshi and back.

The rafting Guide was Ram Sharan, and his crew were extremely funny and always wanted to ensure we were happy. We were beginners for the Rafting tour but achieve amazing knowledge. Their customer service is first-class, so I would definitely recommend Ammar and his company to anyone.

We had a super experience in Nepal as organised by Ammar. The communication was clear and easy, while the trip itself was quite flexible – we could decide from one day to the other what we want to do, including taking astrophotography, one of our primary goals there.

Our guide, Som, is an exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable person that made sure not only that our trip is absolutely stressing free, but also creating a very positive atmosphere through his personality. The porter chosen by the guide (Buddhi) was always on time, super friendly and with a huge smile on his face at all times.

We can only fully recommend using the services of Gokyotreks and also that you try to go off-season when the trails are nearly empty and you can more fully enjoy the trek.

On the 18th of November 2023, we successfully completed our memorable journey through the three passes in a counterclockwise direction, guided by the exceptional expertise of Hira Bahadur and Dinesh Rai from Gokyo Treks & Expedition agency.

We were incredibly fortunate with the weather throughout our adventure, and thanks to their diligent care, my belongings consistently arrived in pristine condition at each lodge. Hira’s decision-making was consistently spot on, instilling complete trust in us. His patience during our numerous photo stops added a delightful touch to our journey, allowing us to have fun and moments of introspection. Together, we ceremoniously hung prayer flags on Kongma La, making it a special memory.

The entire trek was flawlessly organized, right from the airport pickups to our departure flights. Ammar’s assistance in arranging accommodation at the Aloft Hotel after our return from Lukla was immensely appreciated. Our three days in Kathmandu, exploring the world heritage sites with Ammar as our guide, were truly delightful and enjoyable.
