We did the 10 nights 11 days trip to Kala Patthar with Guide Bishnu. He was a great guide and friendly enough instruct some Yoga steps, etc and he was awesome! Our porter Nava was great and made it fun!

Kala Pathar Trek Just the best trip

April 5, 2022

We decided to set out on a thrilling adventure with my 19-year-old, 15-year-old, and myself (45-year-old) by booking the Kala Patthar and Everest Base Camp trek. The local agency, Gokyo Treks, expertly arranged everything for us, including the domestic flights from Lukla, a knowledgeable guide, and three porters to assist us from the Lukla airport. The experience of landing at Lukla airport was nothing short of amazing and filled us with excitement for the journey ahead.

Throughout the trek, the friendly and dedicated guides worked seamlessly as a team, ensuring our safety and comfort at every step of the way. The guest houses we stayed in were clean and provided a comfortable resting place after each day’s adventure. Undoubtedly, the experience was worth every penny spent.

I wholeheartedly recommend Gokyo Treks as a top-notch agency in Nepal, especially for trekking in the Everest region. Their expertise and exceptional service made our journey truly unforgettable.

Dream Trip at Kala Patthar and Everest base camp

March 18, 2022

Our family had an absolutely incredible experience during our hike to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar on our first trip to Nepal. Our guide, Som Shrestha, played a significant role in making the journey so enjoyable and fun!

Throughout the trek, Som’s delightful humor had us laughing and his informative guidance kept us well-informed about what lay ahead. He truly made our entire trip awesome and unforgettable. Without a doubt, we would love to embark on this adventure again, and if given the chance, we would specifically request Som as our guide.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for providing us with the best-guided tour and a truly memorable visit to Everest! It was an experience that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you!

Kala Patthar and EBC trek

March 5, 2022

This was the 2nd time we trekked with Gokyo Treks and Expedition. It was overall another fabulous trek and experience. The scenery was wonderful and we were pleased with the trip.

The fee charged was comparatively lower compared to other agencies while Ammar, the boss, was doing a wonderful service back to the community by committing part of the company’s earnings to fund the education of orphans, and victims of the past earthquake.

We were touched by his effort and commitment to giving back to society in helping the needy. Keep up the good work and we look forward to our next trek with the Gokyo agency.
