| GoshaiKunda Trekking in Nepal |

Gosainkunda is the most holy pilgrimage sites lies in the 4300m above sea level. This treks offer such a beautiful views of the pristine lakes and the himalayan panoram of Langtang ranges inclusive Manaslu. It is believed that there are more then 108 different lakes which represents every different names of Hindu God Shiva. Such as Gosainkunda, Surya kunda, Rudra Kunda aresome names of Shiva. Kund derieved from Nepali word means: lake. Trekkers can be seen around 10 different lakes in one day during their journey on the Suryakunda pass such as Saraswati Kund, Bhairab Kund, Surya Kund and Goshaikund, Rudra kunda, Nag Kunda are the famous one.

Suggested Itinerary: 16 Days
Day 01: Arrival in kathmandu international airport then transfer to hotel. If you have some time hiking around downtown Themal
Day 02: Full day sight seeing in Kathmandu valley. Such as Monkey temple / swayambhunath stupa, Kopan Gomba, Boudhanath stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Hanuman dhoka / old royal palace.
Day 03: Drive to Dhunche early in the morning via Nuwakot Trisuli.
Day 04: Dhunche to Thulo Syabru.
Day 05: Syabru to Sing Gompa. There are two alternative routes to Goshaikund starting at Syabru. This one is commonly considered as a normal route also as a popular one.
Day 06: Sing Gompa to Goshaikund (4,300 m.) This route includes Laurebinayak at (3,930 m.) Saraswati Kund and Bhairab Kund are the most attractive ones on this trek.
Day 07: Goshaikund to Ghopte (3,480 m.) The trail leads to northern part of Goshaidkund and there seems a challenge of corssing the Laurebinayak pass (4,600 m. approxmately). After 4 till 5 hours of trek will arrive at Ghopte for camping.
Day 08: Ghopte Kutumsang (2,470 m.). Except ascending to Tharepati an elevation to (3,400 m.) the rest of the trail will descend. Sufficient hotels, lodges and temporary tea-house are available on the route. Attractive mountain views as well as local peoples' life style, culture, customs would be additional subject of interests.
Day 09: Kutumsang to Chisapani (2,200 m.). Instead of coming down to Kathmandu one can extend the itinerary to enjoy another spectacular view from Chisapani.
Day 10: Chisopani to Nagarkot (2,200 m.). Nagarkot is the most beautiful spot to watch sunrise and sunset view.
Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu from Nagarkot.
Day 12: Free day for shopping, relaxing and packing. Drive to Chitwan.
Day 13: At Chitwan full day program: Elephant ride and bird watching after bed tea or coffee. Breakfast Canoeing on Rapti river, lunch, nature walk and special show of Tharu ethnic group's with Stick dance and dinner at 8 o'clock in the evening.
Day 14: Drive back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel
Day 15: Free for Shopping
Day 16: Drop to the kathmandu airport for your onward flight. |

Alternative Camping Trekking: Option No 2 |

This is newly promoted trekking areas of Nepal lies on the north in the lantang region . This trek is not very hard trek but very non-touristy, cultural and peaceful. The lodges are not available during the route. up to Goshain kunda. Thus, the tour must be arranged a fully organized by camping. The Himalayan lakes, pound, View of gaint Ganesh Himal family and the Manaslu Himalayan range is the most attraction of this route. |
