The way near to Cho - oyu Base camp involves a normal drive at high altitude, but rewards with powerful views of Cho Oyu (8201m) to the north. Further will be realm of the glaciers, surrounded by the unforgettable presence of the world’s mightiest mountains; and brooding above the towering bulk of Everest itself. Normally, we set up four camps in the approach excluding Advanced Base camp. Thereafter starts our main attempt to scale the summit (8201m).
Suggested itinerary : 44 Days.
Days 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel
Days 02 - 03 : Stay in Kathmandu for the official procedure
Days 04 : Fly to Lukla, then trek to Pkakding on the same day.
Days 05 : Trek to Namche Bazaar
Days 06 : Rest at Namche Bazaar for the acclimatization
Days 07 : Trek to Dole
Days 08 : Trek to Gokyo
Days 09 : Acclimatization at Gokyo
Days 10 : Trek to Cho Oyu Base camp
Days 11 - 12 : Set up Base camp
Days 13 : Expedition ceremony and rest
Days 14 - 17 : Set Advance base camp and transport equipment to ABC
Days 18 - 21 : Camp I route fix and set up camp
Days 22 - 25 : Set up camp II
Days 26 - 30 : Back to base camp for final summit plan and rest
Days 31 : Camp I
Days 32 : Camp II
Days 33 : Summit and back to ABC
Days 34 - 35 : Stay at base camp for cleaning and packing equipment
Days 36 : Trek back to Gokyo
Days 37 : Trek back to Dole
Days 38 : Trek back to Namche
Days 39 : Trek back to Phakding
Days 40 : Trek back to Lukla
Days 41 : Fly back to Kathmandu
Days 42 : Stay at Kathmandu and rest
Days 43 : Departure on your own destination
